Looks like I will be busy with my final year project until late August or early September. Would that be too late to go around to see plants? Willy

Remember that if you encounter a bear, you only need to run faster than the slowest person there. Was funny when you posted this, not as much now, roraima and I did this hike a week ago and ran into some bears, it was a little intense. On that note, the bog was not in good shape, the longest recorded dry spell in the history of Victoria has not been kind to the ecosystem. September will probably be worse, but we'll see what I does and see what we can put together.

Thanks, Justin! Glad that you guys are alright! It is too bad that the weather has been so weird this year... Meanwhile, Mr. Trump said that there is no such thing as global warming. Willy

any time you are in squamish or thereabouts I can give the names of six lakes that have rotunds growing around them. I was just out looking at them a couple days ago at one of the higher elavation lakes, a lot are still in good form, the seed pods are all formed and have been dropping seeds as well. So you missed the flowers, but still good to see up here :)
