Hey all
Recently found aphids in my main collection which probably started a few days ago. It consists of Nepenthes, Drosera, Pinguicula, VFT (seedlings), Sarracenia (seedlings), and Darlingtonia (seedlings). My enclosure is in a 4-tier grow rack covered by plastic... Instead of insecticides I am thinking of mixing vinegar and baking soda to create CO2 in order to suffocate the aphids. Does this method need any precautions?
Thanks

CO2 will not suffocate aphids unless you displace all the oxygen, you would need an awful lot of baking soda and vinegar to do that, and a really good seal. What about testing insecticidal soap ?
