I tried germinating byblis using the bleach method and I think it worked great. I read some posts about people using 10% bleach and had germination in 3 days. I used 5% bleach and had germination in about 10 days. If you do follow this method remember to save some of your seeds so if you mess up you won't lose it all So first I got the seeds ready Then I prepared a solution of 5% bleach (1mL of bleach in ~19mL of water) and just let them sit there for a couple hours. You should see some brown around the seeds and make sure it doens't turn completely grey. You should really eyeball it so you don't overdo it. maybe 25% of my seeds were overdone (turned very grey) and didn't sprout Drain and wash a couple of times to get rid of the bleach. I just put a papertowel over a cup and drained it there. Some people had really fast germinations but mine took about 10-15 days... (I probably didn't let them sit long enough) Good luck!

Oh I didn't know you had to sterilize them. Is it necessary? Thanks

Not necessary but possibly may help.
