How cold can pigmy sundews tolerate? Can they take 3 or 4 C? I'd like to keep them in my cold, non-freezing attic for the winter.

i haven't tried such temperature myself, but have a look at this Australia temperature chart. Knowing the species distribution/localisation could be handy though: www.wilmap.com.au/weather.html

-.2->11.1 C? That's even colder than my attic!

Why overwinter them in an attic? My two pygmies seem to do fine just left in the terrarium. The light is all natural and the area gets colder in the winter next to a big window.

I have a space issue. I can't fit everybody in the kitchen and bedrooms. I don't have enough window sill space to go around.

Does the attic have any light?

I have been exclusively using window sills. I had my buckets-O-minibogs right by the SW window sill last winter, and all but two VFT's wintered over and came back for me in February / March. Getting electricity to extend there will be a chore.
