So I always keep my VFT's moist and not saturated with water using a moisture meter to get it at the right moisture level. Well for the past 2 weeks, I can see the tiny shoot in the middle of the B52 but it would never sprout. Then the last few days I added more water until it was quite wet. Now the sprouts is growing . Its a small B52 that I picked up at Hawaiian Botanicals. It's in a 6" high pot. I guess the pot is big for the small plant so do I water more? Reason I didn't water too much is I'm afraid of the soil being constantly wet and maybe lead to root rot or something? Any tips fellow members?

Varying the water level is probably best. They won't mind being waterlogged occasionally in the growing season. The top can even dry out for a few hours.
