I have seen people are interested in ant plants. I have seen the ants live inside them. What is the purpose of these? Don't the ants get lose into your house? Any help would be appreciated. Please PM thanks

There is quite a lot of information out there if you look, both in this forum and various other sources - too much to give via a PM or post. I suggest reading through the forum posts and google search first and that will likely answer most of your questions. So much information is right here already and it would be very difficult to condense. It's a fun thing to read a post here, Google the topic and read some more. Every time you will end up learning way more than the original topic of interest.... Happy growing/reading/learning!

I would actually love to obtain a colony of ants (proper symbiotic species) to inhabit my ant-plants!

I've been wanting to build a tank with both the ants and the plants together but sadly it's illegal to get any kind of ant other than those endemic to Alberta. I put a colony in with a Hydnophytum but they treated it like an obstruction and nothing more. We can keep trying and you never know.

If you keep them in in a glass terrarium and have the upper sides of the enclosure slicked with vasaline, it would be a perfect insect-plant habitat.

Bonjour
