Hello everyone one, my U. Gibba has not many traps. The big cluster part has not Many, and the small strands that go everywhere have the traps. Any idea why? Thanks any help would be appreciated. I will post a picture when I get back from my cottage.

I would think if there is not many traps on your plant/ plants is due to lack of light is my thinking , these plants like to have as much sun as possible, the all so like shallow still water in cultivation, a good way to know you have enough light is there flowering ,lots of flowers good light low or none not enough light , a friend of mine here has there in some large fish tanks out in the open in his back yard in the hills full sun and they flower prolifically and are just a mass of traps ,mine are in the green house on the floor, lager mass of plants but no flowers so not enough light for them , just can move there to more light in there

Hi, I found out the problem. I moved it to a new container and it seems to lose traps when you do that. But I think maybe it needs more light. It was under a bright light, but no flowers, so maybe I disturb it to much or the light isn't strong enough. If I can't get it to flower in the spring I will move it outside and maybe out some in my 600 gallon pond. Is it cold Hardy? Or Tropical? Thanks. I will google that
