All orders are on their way, the plants look very nice.
Those with missing plants already got a PM from me.
Sadly, those with missing order will also be refunded.
If you got your plants, and you are not pleased, please PM me.
This year was not my best group order, a couple plants missing, missing orders for many reasons, but over everything; the customs saga.
I truly apologize for everything.
I will push a sale next spring, with red mambo, pilosas and other rare clones. Those with missing orders will have the first choice, and a massive discount.

an exellent job ? are you kidding guys? i end up with a 900$ refund bill, + customs fees, + paypal fees. And i didnt order a single plant myself, i just do this for ocps members.
I lost a lot of money, my reputation and wistuba just dont reply to me anymore since i told him our problems.
I dont call that a succes at all.

Success is not guaranteed by either effort nor good intentions. What counts is you tried. You shouldn't have lost money, that's not good. Everybody who bought should share the expenses.

Don't be hard on yourself please ! 1- You have no control on Paypal 2- You have no control on Wistuba 3- You have no control on postal service 4- You have no control on customs And last, you have no control on us members !
You did your best, and as for me, I got my complete order and great plants ! And I thank YOU for that ! lloyd is right, I totally agree with him. Sent you money to cover the extra fees.

I was one of the few who didn't get there order due to a misunderstanding/breakdown in communication. At first I was upset but after talking to Francois I feel bad for him, not myself.
It takes a lot of effort to put together a group order like this. The willingness to help out other members of the forum- the time, planning, etc. is incredible. If it wasn't for people like Maiden a lot of members wouldn't/couldn't have plants in their collections that they have today because means of getting the plants here wouldn't be available. Maybe we should start considering putting caps on orders so that the person placing the order isn't so overwhelmed with 20+ orders.
Francois, I hope this doesn't discourage you from doing a future group order. We need people like you who are generous enough to take on such a huge task such as this!

I am truly thankful for all the work that went into this order and for the opportunity to have access to some awesome plants that I otherwise would not have had. For all the time and effort that went into this, I hope that the members who benefited from this could at least be able to reimburse the costs. Thanks again Francois.

François you did the best job possible. Most of us would shy away from such responsibility and burden. I raise my glass to you for a job well done.
Cheers buddy.

Yes clearly François you are too hard on yourself! We're all very thankful you took the time and responsibility to make this happen
I too ended up with 0 plants but hey, it isn't your fault. The only one I am disappointed with is A. Wistuba, and even then only if he doesn't acknowledge the situation, because such things happen unfortunately.
Let me know if I can be of any help and many thanks again for organizing this order, regardless of the outcome!
cheers

Cheers guys, thx for your kind words.
Its not andreas fault, his team forgots some plants, but it was a big order for them too.
I made many misstakes, i forgot some plants too, and the mixedup with tracking numbers.
I hope i will learn from this.
By the way, all the boxes are in their final cities, so i guess you will get it pretty soon.
PM me about any problem please.
PS: For those who wait for a refund, it will be this week, probably thursday or friday. I will paypal you all the money directly. Please PM me your paypal infos

Maybe in the future for big orders, a collaboration would be better. Two or more people could check and recheck the order and divy up all the responsibilities. The paperwork could be split up, with one person dealing with the vendor and one with the CRA. If two people lived nearby, the final packaging and shipping could be done together. People could even make a Blog like thread on the forum, detailing all the steps and procedures. Over time, we could learn from past orders and stream line and perfect the group order procedure.
That way a new person could just look on the Wistuba or BCP thread and wouldn't have to reinvent the wheel. A bit of extra work (which could be done by another member of the group order team).
Just a suggestion. However with the increased size, cost and complexity of the orders, maybe the time has come for such an approach.
