Do you live near Calgary, or closer to Edmonton? Do you attend the orchid meetings of the orchid society of Alberta??

Nice! Do you grow Catasetum orchids at all? I'm looking for people to have conversations about them and for advice.

3 hours of the dullest drive ever. I once fell asleep and almost ended up in the median. You can tell you've arrived in Calgary when you have to move your foot on the accelerator.

...can I just say that I have graduated to Sunshine, Nakiska and of course, Lake Louise numerous times since those many moons ago. Lloyd, a much better drive ANY DAY, than the cursed and forsaken 401! Highway of Heroes my ass, more like parking lot of morons. Note to any drivers here, if someone is passing you and they are in the right lane, you are in the wrong lane. People commute on the autobahn at 250+km/h every day, anybody doing less than 200 is looking to get over in the 'slow lane', nobody does that here. If they did, our traffic congestion problems would disappear. and if those Heroes were, or, are still alive today, guaranteed they are not taking their route. Too much time lost. Sorry for my rant but I have spent WAY too much time parked on the 401 this week. I'd love to take the Calgary/Edmonton trip, with a detour through Jasper. Thanks for listening.

I agree, it is a dull drive. But the training in the mountains for my team is way better than the training in the crappy river valley here
