I am glad you corrected me and you are absolutely right I should've mentioned hybrids and most likely phals not species orchids.

Hi corinac - I'm just giving you a hard time, so I am glad you weren't offended. The "there are no blue orchids" is an old trope in orchid growing. In Minnesota we have the second largest orchid society in the States and when I interact with those folks people say it often. So, I love bringing up the sun orchids, partly because they are super cool, but also to point out that most folks who grow orchids only really know a small subset, and typically not the terrestrial species. I'm just having a bit of fun with folks when I do that. Thanks for replying in good humor!

Apoplast, no way that I would ever be offended by a comment like that and I didn't feel that you were trying to give me hard time at all : ) Orchids are a subject so large that I don't think anyone will get to know everything about them.

Aww, and there I wanted to order myself the blue ping seeds... Too bad chlorophyll is green, eh.
Interesting how all those vendors are using the same photos, too.

It would be worth buying just to see what you got (if it was cheap). Nooo! Bad Lloyd! Do not recommend supporting these sellers by even buying ONE seed! *Swats with newspaper*

From what I understand the Chinese seed scammers actually send you some seed. Maybe they have a guilty conscience? I'd be curious to see what grew.
