Hi All, My D. madagascariensis went full beast mode, and grew to a pount where they were unmanageable in my grow space. I cut them all back to ground level, and cut the stem just below the active growth points and replanted. Now, not only are the cuttings doing well, but they are regrowing from the roots, where I'd originally cut them. It's gonna be a real forest this time.

Wow! So this is what I'm to expect? I've only got one that's started to grow and its about 2" tall. So Bombay is the secret?

Bombay is key. Not sure it'll help with the plants though.

14 hour day, double T5s on it. Maybe a little foliar maxsea here and there helped it grow so tall. These are about a year old now.

I've had mine for years in a really small pot. They get about 4 inches high and start to die back. I cut them off and stick the top two inches into the medium and they just keep growing.

That's exactly what I did Lloyd. Incredible how quickly these plants can grow.

I bought one of these but most of the roots broke off. So I planted the roots and the broken plant and the root has grown into two plants!
