Just got my Pinguicula books in the mail. Having a look at them now.
Fantastic photography - typical Red Fern production values.
As for the text - need to read some of it before giving a comment on it. Both works are multi-authored (9 authors) so it will be interesting to see how readable they are.
One other comment - these two books are a different size (height and width) compared to previous books by Red Fern. They are intermediate in size compared to the other books published by Red Fern. Sorta looks weird on the book shelf - I wish he has stayed with the same physical dimensions and not selected a third size. But that is my personal preference.

Finally got my Pinguicula books in the mail and yes the photography is fantastic. I'm more in love with this group of plants. KP.

Yes indeed. I am like yourself in that regard (it has been a long time). I received my shipping notification today so moving in the right direction (to my hands in due time 😀).
At this point the only major group left is Utricularia for Red Fern. Would be nice to have a book with colour photographs to complement the taxonomic book by P. Taylor (which itself is a masterful work).

Received my Drosera of the World Series today. I have not had a chance to do more than a quick scan but my first impression is "WOW, yet again Stuart and crew have delivered again". More to follow over the weekend.

Yes, it blew me away. Was by airmail. I ordered via the natural history book club in the U.K. Great service from them and extremely affordable shipping (their shipping charge for 5 books was the same as 1 from Redfern).

That is odd, the shipping cost seems to be the same for both sites to the US. I didn't get a shipping confirmation this past week so I hope my books are actually on the way. I did order them along with some in-stock books which may be the reason why - I just hope they actually did ship.

When I ordered the books a couple of years ago - the shipping price for redferm was per book whereas for NHBS it was a single lump sum. May have changed since. I have not really looked at it. But for Canada we always seem to be hammered. Lol.
Interesting as I did something like that also (added the carnivorous plants habitats book pair to the Drosera order).
