Where do you suggest we buy seeds from them? We would like to purchase for our family and are unsure where to look...

Should'nt anything ordered from Asia be inspected at the border to see if it is what the seller claims it is? and then send it back where it came from? or have a list where victims can put them on a do not buy list? maybe a copy of the order invoice should accompany all incoming orders. I mean if they rip you off and send a Cannabis plant or seed its you going to suffer because it is now in your possession because once here you become the buyer and we all know how easy it is to disappear to avoid authorities.

...For Dionaea seed, here are two solid eBay sellers that I've had numerous dealings with in the past....sam1greentmb.....and......sprouse2006.....They are both from the US and I have nothing negative to say about either one. Actually, sprouse2006 sent me the first bonuses I have ever received in an eBay transaction and I've been a member for a while. I guess this should go in the Good Traders thread but since you asked.....

It really depends on what seed you do get. Rarer plant seeds are basically guaranteed to be fakes but more common ones such as water lotus, tend to be real and have fantastic germination rates for the amount you spend.
My recent purchase of brugmansia suavolens seeds seem to be fakes though.

A little off topic but if you want Brugmansia cuttings I can ship you as many as you want, I throw out thousands of cuttings every year. Thanks for the offer, I'm definitely looking to acquire more cuttings. Funny thing is, I was just about to make a thread asking for brugmansia cuttings after what just happened to my current cuttings: Recently, Richmond Hill (and Toronto) has been experiencing a heat wave and it hasn't rained in weeks. I went on vacation to the cottage for 3 days and tragically, I decided to leave my rooted cuttings of brugmansia, one of my favourite plants, outdoors sitting in a few centimetres of water thinking they would survive since it was just 3 days. I came home today to find ALL of them dried to the bone. I should have moved them indoors. I also lost a few sarrs and bog plants. On the 3 days I was away, I was told that the temperature was 30+ which probably contributed to a very high transpiration rate though I never had problems leaving plants outdoors for up to one week in past summer vacations. I will PM you and cover shipping costs.

My microbogs are going through over a liter of water each daily and that just keeps the bottom moist.

My microbogs are going through over a liter of water each daily and that just keeps the bottom moist. Are you using distilled water? The heat wave + drought we're experiencing is seriously putting a dent in my wallet keeping everything moist. I'm hoping for rain soon, so my trays will get filled up and I won't have to water until it dries. We might get rain on friday, but don't count on it because the forecast last week called for a thunder storm and we got a drizzle.
