Nice macros! Definitely some capes in there, and I think you are right about the D. indica.

[long post warning]I couldn't sit down and take some photos of my babies because I've been stressed out. Finally took some times to take a look at these beautiful seedlings. It’s been rough in the past few weeks for me; things go wrong, never caught enough rest, stress builds up, my smile has been missing for awhile. Because I didn't catch enough sleep, I keep on making stupid mistakes: Got charged ~$100 by bank for insufficient fund, keep on cutting my hands, getting sick, etc... So it really means a whole lot to me to know that my plants are doing well under my care; at least they'd show appreciations when they know that you love them... Enough from me.. let's see the babies 6.19 - Life, death, hope With no surprise, the seedlings have been growing quite well! Some of them need to be moved to new pots soon!
Catching food on its own already! As you may know, I really love Sphagnum so here are some photos of the cute baby sphagnum moss!! BFF, Shagnum & Drosera A week ago, I was really tired from work, got home and didn't want to waste an evening. Stupid me, made a experimental high power LED, thinking that might help improving my photos - but didn't remember to test it... I ended up dropping the LED (because it was over-driven, got so hot that melted the nylon fixture [takes 220c+!!!]...) onto my seedlings, and with a sound of "blizzzzzz", Peat and things in contacts were VAPORIZED. I was slow to react because I was half awake, too late to save some of them. I really blame myself hard on this; I hope no one will ever make the same mistake I did - ALWAYS test your DIY thingy well before you use it, please Willy. [warning: dead seedlings ]Good news? Though many of them died, few of them made it alive. Life is amazing, I can't explain how they could survive the vaporizing heat - I would have died if I were one of them. I promise I will care for these healing ones with all I could. Luckily the LED was pretty small, so the impact areas were not too big... I usually learn a lot from my downs and lows, this time is no exception. I've learned that I should never lose hope because plants may die, but new seedlings are to come. Life carries on, whether we like it or not!! I am amazed. I hope things will get better eventually. Side note: Perhaps you don't realize it, but you mean a lot to your friends and families. If you have time, start a chat with them, ask them how they are doing and show that you care for them; a tiny text message or a call might mean so much to them. Often people pretend to be doing fine, but they aren't really - they just don't want you to worry because they care about you.
Sorry for the long post, hope you liked the photos.

Every one has done stupid stuff like dropping or breaking plants. Happens all the time. Maybe not as dramatic as what you did.

It is great to see your dews doing so well. It is unfortunate that there were losses but if they were in the wild it could have been a bear crushing them as it ambled about. You have managed to get large dew drops on very young plants, so you know how to make them happy and thriving. Sorry to hear about your stresses clumping up on you. They will get a lot easier to cope with once you can get them teased apart so that one going off doesn't trigger the rest. Hang in there.

I like bears(only when they don't chase me).

Bears seem to have few rules; 1) Go where the berries are. 2) Water is good. 3) Don't mess with my cubs.

Willy, did these grow from seeds to the size they are now in three months? Quick little guys, its amazing that they grow carnivorous leaves so young, many of the gesneriads I grow will grow in an adolescent way for sometimes years before they are strong enough to grow and adult stem and flower.

Yes, they are pretty fast in growing! I've moved a handful of capensis-like seedlings out to a pot already because they have become too big for other seedlings! I will post some new photos tonight.
