First time flowering for me, interesting observation was that this one plant pruduced all non carnivous leaves first and then flowered while the rest of my plants just kept producing traps and did not flower.

Congrats Brad! That's awesome! I'm assuming this in one of your Cephs from the greenhouse? I've been growing all my mature Cephs outdoors and/or in windowsills in hopes that the natural change in photoperiod and temperature will induce flower production. Thanks again for sharing this proud moment

Congrats! Do cephs self seed? Yes but rubbing the flower with a paint brush will help to get more seeds.

Hello Brad - Fantastic, that's nice work! I have recently been thinking it would be good to try to induce my cephs to bloom. Any tips beyond attempting to get them to do a full rosette of all non-carnivorous leaves?

Mmmm, Apoplast, I think a good temperature drop (a few months near 10-15C) would have help but I think it is perhaps a bit late now.

Salut Shogg - Merci! I grow my cephs in the same area as my tuberous dews, so they do get a winter chill. Nothing for flowers yet. I wonder if they aren't large enough yet. I got seeds a few years back and ended up with some cephs. I've never given them much thought. They just kind of plug along. Recently, I've decided it would be fun to produce some seeds to let others give them a go. So, I have a renewed interest (can you call it renewed when you didn't ever take much interest in the first place?) in my cephs. So, I very much appreciate you taking the time to give me some advice, thanks!
