If anybody has some divisions I'd love to buy or trade (don't really have anything quite interesting yet) for one. Same with the red sphagnum. Is it too late in the season to be getting more temperate carnivorous plants? My spark of interest on temperate plants has tremendously increased after observing them in the wild.

I can help you with the red sphagnum but no extra HCW right now.
Typically this time of the year isn't great for getting new temperate plants but it can still be done. Late winter/early spring is the best time. Just before they start growing.

Ya my hurricane creek white is doing pretty good but not ready to divide, & How do grow spagnahm moss don't you need high humidity, I would love to grow I think it looks awesome I grow my sphagnum moss both outside and under grow lights. Under grow lights, they become more stringy but outside, they become more compact. The moss under grow lights are under high humidity but the moss outdoors grows just fine since the wet soil creates a microclimate for them. They do better outside under shade for me. Perhaps try and plant some around your Sarracenia? If you don't have any live sphagnum moss, pm me and I'll send some over so you can try growing it. If you're ever dividing the hcw lecophylla, I'd be glad to trade or buy some from you.

Ontariotraps, if you want a culture to start with ill send you a pile. It's ezpz. Tons of light and constant humidity/water supply or it goes brown. If you have nothing growing in it I have an awesome fert to use. You can flush the moss beforehand if you are worried but it is all high amino fert. It doesn't hang on and has almost no chance of burning even the most sensitive roots.

Live sphagnum top dressings are actually very beneficial for carnivorous plants. They make the soil more acidic, keep the roots cooler, and indicate when the soil is going a bit bad.
