Hawaiian botanicals has just absorbed the rest of the urban bog... Glad to hear. The plants were fantastic. Some of those VFT varieties were hard to come by. Nice to hear there will be another source to get them again.

The plants sold for essentially nothing, after finding out the price I wish I had bid. It would have been worth it just for the flytraps and thrown everything else in the garbage.

I remember hearing it was a no-reserve auction. Wouldn't have hurt to throw a bid in I think.

I assumed that the auction was going to be far too much money for me. You know what happens when you assume though.

Hawaiian botanicals has just absorbed the rest of the urban bog... I'm also happy to hear this. That is a huge load of plants for 1k dollars, but realistically who else would have been able to take this on and still make these plants available to the public in a financially viable manner. From being there (as opposed to the stock shown online), I appreciate how many great plants they had.

No one is going to bid on 2 k plants that is too much plant material for most people

I don't know their personal financial situations, but they should have taken more time for the closing sale and sell most of the plants through webshop sales. But well..
Its sad because most of that equipment per piece itself would have been more than a $1000/
