Spectacular photographs Devon and amazing seedlings. Reminds me of my own seedlings many years ago. You have a much better variety though. Great job!

If the same method for a successful VFT germination, is done does that mean the plant is getting ideal growing conditions?

Ideal conditions are not likely to always be easily attainable, if at all. We strive to get as close to ideal as possible, always remembering that it is only an ideal, mostly just in our own imaginations. Devon, your VFT seedlings make for some very impressive CP eye-candy - Delish! dvg

Great work with those. I'll be interested to hear if you maintain your growth rate using the orchid food foliar.

amanitovirosa: I decided to put them in the dormancy chamber and re-pot in the spring instead, but I did end up using the fert on them. They grew slightly faster, but not by much. It seems to encourage flowering on sundews. Since spraying the flytraps didn't have a very noticable effect, I mixed the fertilizer with dried bloodworms and fed it to them. It gave them a great growth spurt. Here's a video I took some time before dormancy: This plants leaves are almost double in size now!
