It's actually incredibly easy to send plants to the states, all you have to do is get you plants inspected for a phyto and you're free to bring them across the boarder. It's just a hassle for anything but rare plants. Stupid that it doesn't work the same way for bringing plants back into Canada.

US customs is what I was wondering about. I ordered bare root roses once from a nursery in Canada and the box had an inspection sticker on it. Jeeez....roses aren't considered rare lol!

They are looking for bugs and nasties more than the plant.

I was planning on ordering from BCP. If anyone wants to order from somewhere else, maybe we could do a poll or something. BCP has always been the most reliable in my experience though. Let me know how they do! A member of this forum is going to be trading me a bunch of temperature pings this winter and I'll order what ever he didn't have any extra of. How did yours look? Many of mine are already producing hibernaculum and withering away. Sorry, I missed this. Mine arrived as hibernacula as well.

I'm in for a few plants from BCP too. Didn't have luck with temperate pings from BCP either ... I don't have the touch to establish hibernaculum in the middle of summer

My sarras barely had any time to make pitchers last year too - some contracted pests from a nearby garden plant and didn't pitcher at all. I'll do my best to do the order as soon as they open this time.

I would really like to join the order and get a couple of plants from BCP.
Last year the species I wanted from them sold out within a month or so of opening, so it would be great if you ended up ordering soon after the shop opens this Spring. That said I've very grateful for all the work you put into these group orders and don't want to be pushy.
Thanks Devon.
