My entry this month is a giant seed-grown VFT from Maiden. Quite large traps! This plant also made a great recovery from bad mite damage. nomnomnom

...so here is my entry for August. It is a working Drosera Burmanii that I started from seed sometime in February. Note the noisy grasshopper that was really pissing me off in the greenhouse. My Capensi (is that the plural?) got the drumsticks. The loonie is there for scale, it is my last one having blown all my money on plants! Happy Growing to Everyone!

Nol inspired me to enter this plant, it still has lots of growing to do! This was after Nol's photo when the plant tried to eat his coin. Dionaea muscipula 'B52'

J that plant has my vote all day long. Those pics do it no justice, you have large hands like a steel worker and they belittle the plant.
Beauty plants to everyone else as well!

Very nice plant H20, by far the largest VFT I've seen. I was wondering where you got those square pots with the cut-off edges that your other VFT's are in. I've been looking for a while to get pots like that.

Those pots are hard to come by. I can easily get 3.5 and 4 inch but all the other sizes are a pain. I just have a stockpile of them from when I worked in Ontario. Search around at co-op style supplier, they're usually the ones that stock them. Hydro stores tend not to have them because they aren't very deep pots.
If you really can't find any I can ship you a bunch of them.

Thanks, I'll continue to search around hopefully I can find some. I have ONE of those pots that was given to me from a guy I met up with and traded some CP's with. That pot is the holy grail of all my pots.
