beautiful flower! but i heard they stink. i like the third picture on the first page that has the little almost like bird bath with the succulents hanging out. it really stands out from everything else. do you have to bring everything in every year?
Yes, I bring all the tender plants in for the winter and try and propagate a lot of Echeverias for the planters outside. They don't grow much during the winter but if I can get some leaf pullings to put down roots, they'll take off once I put them outside in the spring. The Euphorbias and cacti stay dry and neglected unless they look really shriveled. I leave the cacti out until there's a chance of frost then bring them in to a cool window to try and induce flowering in the spring.
I started bringing everything in this weekend. Here's some photos of the plant room downstairs, plus there are 6 x 4' shelves full of plants upstairs in front of the south-facing upstairs windows. Those are mostly tuberous begonias and I have a dozen Rhipsalis plus ferns and tender outside plants that we want to keep for next year. My wife loves Pings so a tray of those usually ends up upstairs, too.
Echiverias, including a cool cristate one on the right, waiting on the driveway to go inside.
Orchids. Mostly Oncidiums and a few phals. Lots of Tillandsia above
Begonias above, Echevarias (left) and Mesembs (right)below and various succulents below. Left corner is a nice Euphorbia millii graciously donated by Lloyd.
Right side of the same shelf with Lithops and Stapeliads and a few odd succulents on the middle shelf.
6 foot tall banana plants, a big Begonia and a Bougainvillea. The Bougainvillea will lose all its leaves and look pathetic all winter, but it bounces back in the spring.

bonfield: I've decided to finally reveal my best-kept secret for growing healthy Neps: Just spit on them every few days, the enzymes in saliva help them to better absorb the fertilizer I spray them with!
