Just wondering if anyone will be going? My friends and I went for the first time last year and had a great time. We will be going again this year. I vaguely remember a vendor on the upper level selling Pinguicula, but didn't check them out because I was too focused on picking up some orchids.

I'm going. Not sure which day. Looking for some orchids but if there are any interesting CPs I might be tempted.

I will be going after lunch Saturday. Has anyone gone on Sunday before? Are the crowds as big as Saturday? We were thinking of going Sunday but my friends were worried about not being able to pick up the plants that wanted.

Yeah....I agree...I am also going to go earlier rather than later just in case the plants are gone. I have read some stories of mistakes and some plants in orders being sold away by mistake. I finally found a lepanthes nycteris and I don't want to miss it. lol

I was there on Saturday and met up with canuk1w1. Picked up way too many orchids, but stuck to the beginner's stuff.
2 oncidiums, 2 dendrobiums, 1 cattleya cross, 3 baby paphs and 3 phals
And now I'm making a dedicated growing room in my basement because the corner shelves in the laundry room are overflowing. Photos and thread to follow.

Probably best I couldn't go. Did they have orchid seeds for sale?

I didn't notice any seeds but I wasn't looking that hard. One vendor had a few flasks.

I bought too many orchids. Just too many. lol! Mostly lepanthes, one masdevallia and a poroglossum I managed to stay in budget! Brassavola nodosa, Maxillaria tenuifolia and Neofinetia falcata seedling. I was so tempted by the flasks but I have enough projects on the go... Bought a Dendrobium kingianum by accident. I was looking to select an R. gigantea but I got crossed up - rookie mistake (I could have put that $25 and bought a Susan Fuchs instead). The bloke with the D.adelae and D. capensis seemed to have a genuine interest in CPs. While I was chatting with him, a woman came by who'd seen a field of seedlings in Queensland! His plants looked high quality but a bit pricey for a beginner. The crowds were awful but they seemed to move in waves. The RBG show will probably be bigger?

Really? You saw Cps there? loL! I didn't see a single one. I just spent most of the time hovering around the top floor sales area just looking at random orchids.
