Bonjour Maiden - Not only are your plants healthy and happy looking, but your photos make them look even more stunning! Now I have something to aspire to with my new heli, you know besides not killing it. Quick question, how do your cool your grow space?

I'm going to guess an air conditioner. That's what I use. I don't have a green house here just a room with large home built enclosures

Yep! They have their personnal A/C Another good thing is to put a icepack next to the pot to keep the roots cool at night. The roots are the key Francois

Very nice, but i dont have a lowland setup..
Your veitchii's pitchers are hairy too? Sometime the bottom got a lil brown fuzz but i never saw a full hairy pitcher like the hamata hairy.

It's mostly the tendrils and undersides of the leaves. The initial formation of the pitcher is very hairy as well. However the pitcher itself after formation is not. Smaller plants don't seem to exhibit the same level of hairy either.

Your veitchii is stunning. Thanks for sharing these pictures. However, i think this specie will struggle in my highland setup

The veitchii K will for sure The other is getting 75-80* F By day and around 65-68 by night. It may do ok. Idk
They seem to do best in intermediate conditions.

Lol Glad I could hep :-) If your looking for something. With the veitchii flare and a beautifully striped pertisome I highly reccomend veitchii X Lowii. AW is the only place I have ever seen them available..... Easy grower www.nepenthesaroundthehouse.com/nveitchiixlowii.htm
