Woke up to a light frost on the car this morning. Guess it's time to start thinking about mulching some of the more sensitive plants.

Pretty cold for Toronto tonight, zero and falling. I probably could have waited a week or so but I felt sorry for the sarr's-if I'm shivering in my winter coat etc.; surely they should go into the garage. Sleep tight and dream of flies and wasps. I'll take you out for thaws and rain.

Lucky you, we already have 1-2 cm of snow.
Early falls, even for here.
Good luck with the mulching.

I hear you Shogg. We've had about 5cm already and it stayed on the ground all day. Our last several days have been below freezing, and I'm in the States! With this sort of weather I should just move to Canada. At least then I'd have access to national healthcare and experience reduced gun violence.

Funny since I first wrote that I've a few days of light frost then it has warmed up quite a bit. Just checked the forecast and for the weekend its calling for snow... and/or rain of course.

Yeah that's early Apoplast, you would have all those benefits and a higher tax rate too

Very cold in Toronto for the past couple of days with some snow today. Due to lack of space in the garage I've put my CP pots up against the house and piled leaves over them. Let's hope they make it. They've been OK in the garage for the past 2 years and it's usually no warmer in there than it is outside.
