Hi all - When I posted about finding the roots of my tuberous dews growing out of the bottom of my pots I said I discovered it because I was moving them to set up a vase for growing some U. biloba. Well here is that set up. This is what it looked like gust after I planted the plug containing the U. biloba stolons into the vase. It took a few weeks but then the plant started to grow, and this is how the set up looks now. It's a little hard to tell, but if you look closely you can see the U. biloba starting to grow up into the water column. I think I've gotten it past the worst part of the algae growth and I am hopeful it will take off from here. Thanks for looking!

Hi Ray - Thanks (I think, though I admit I am not certain how exactly to interrupt the semicolon capital d combination ";D"). It does have a lot more algae and looks kind of scuzzy, but the plant is much happier I assure you. With any luck I'll get to post pictures of flowers this summer or next. Those will be more impressive then my green twig in green water. I hope.
