I have a stylidium debile that I don't know if it is flowering or what. It sent up a stalk that has what looks like it could be a tiny little plantlet but I have not heard of this ever happening befor with this species so I am wondering if the stalk will form leaves then a flower bud or something. I would like to know as soon as possible because if it is a plantlet I am going to cut it off and berry it in the soil to continue growth.

They will sometimes form plantlets on their stalks that will root if placed in the soil. If treated well, Stylidium debile will usually fill an entire container with a colony of offshoots.
