Be careful, you may find them growing in other pots in a few months.

If they flower they will self seed reliably. Just gather the seed before the pods open or they will grow everywhere.

This I didnt know, good to know though. Mine have been flowering for the past 6+ months and thought they needed to be pollinated.

Mine's just sending up a stalk, hasn't flowered in a while. When it did, I would pull the flowers off as soon as the petals fell off. The seeds weren't obvious until they began popping up in all the other pots a few months later.

Be careful, you may find them growing in other pots in a few months. nah, the plants are isolated in their own terrarium shoggoth: after the last flower, cut the stalk softly. They dont need any action from you to produce seeds. be carefull, because the seeds can spread everywhere. When i give the seed by mail, i give a whole pod.(30-50seeds) By the way, my calycifida is MUCH bigger now, with 20 flower stalks!
