Hello, Can someone confirm to me that this is u. prehensilis and not subulata Also, does this plant is self-pollinating ? And finally, I grow all my utrics in the same container and I have to always trim the clump getting out from the pot holes to be sure they don't contaminate my other pot. Does someone has ever tried to put their pot in a 'freezer ziplock for vegetables' ? Let me explain, I don't want to grow them in no-hole pot to be able to propagated them via the clump getting out and I don't have enough space to keep them in separated container. So these specific ziplock have smalls holes in them that will allow the water to be equal for all the pot but will the utric be able to pass through these very small holes ? Tks Shogg

u. prehensilis and not subulata. Subulata doesn't twine as far as I know. Terrestrial utrics don't need any drainage holes. I grow them in plastic drinking cups. If you leave any drainage holes in a communal area, you will likely end up with one dominant utric taking over every pot.

Wow! Amazing Shogg! I've been trying to flower mine. Although it has not, I have found it to be my most drought resistant utricularia, the pot can dry out, and it still survives.

Ok, thanks Lloyd. I'll still try the vegy ziplock and if it doesn't work, I'll switch too close pot. Tks Peatmoss, I really like the flowers. They are much bigger than my liniflora and sandersonii. I didn't do anything special to make it flower. I keep it in my subtropical terra and let the water level go up and down but never let it dry Good to know I could without too much risk It's a one year old plant.

Hi Shogg - Great flower! And a really nice plant. It seems to have done really well for you in one year. Must be the grower.
