I got 10 of them from flytrapstore.com. No permits required.. he supplies the phyto! they all arrived perfectly in tact, and there were more plants than I expected in each tube! (5-15) Here's what I got: And these are the ones I am most excited about: Seperating and potting them was a hassle, but worth it. especially when they were like this: And here they are in their temporary home! Hopefully I'll be able to get them outside this year. right now, I have absolutely no indoor space left. Updates to follow!

Ohhh boy! You are going to be very popular on these forums soon!!!
Looks like you got some choice plants there, I will have to do an order with them soon, how did you find the service? And were the plants worth the prices?
Wacky traps, and dracula, those will be fabulous!

Glad to see they arrived to you in good shape Devon! It looks like you're doing things right. I usually leave the plastic bags on for at least 2 weeks. You should have enough plants there to sell or trade some once they all grow out to help offset the initial cost. Many international customers seem to be selling the extras they get in the tubes to cover the cost (or even make money) they paid for the plants. And in case people haven't heard of DC XL yet, it's a monster! Bigger than B52 for me and more vigorous too. Here is a photo of my mother plant last spring:

If some more people here get some flytraps from you that I don't have, then I'll definitely be trading for them! I can't wait until my flytrap grows like that!!

That's a lot of flytraps Devon. Hope they do well for you.
I also ordered 2 TC Flytraps from Flytrapstore. I paid for the phytosanitary certificate. It's now been 4 weeks from the day I ordered. I e-mailed them 5 days ago about the status of my order and have not receive a response. I'm impatient...

Devon: You'll have lots of fantastic trading material, very soon! Wow! Looks like a very successful order. Matt: If I didn't know better, I'd say that was photoshopped! What a monstrous plant. How old is it? This photo is from a division of Steve's (my business partner) mother plant. I believe he got the original plant sometime in 2007 or 2008. I'm not sure how old the division was when I got it from him in January 2011. I also ordered 2 TC Flytraps from Flytrapstore. I paid for the phytosanitary certificate. It's now been 4 weeks from the day I ordered. I e-mailed them 5 days ago about the status of my order and have not receive a response. I'm impatient... Sorry for not replying. I don't recall getting an email asking about the status of any order, but this week has been a crazy one...the largest number of orders the FlytrapStore has ever had actually! But patience is required when placing a TC order. Unlike plants in stock at the actual FlytrapStore, I can't keep tubes sitting on the shelf and simply ship them as orders come in. Everything is "made to order" when a TC order comes in. For that reason it usually takes at least 6 weeks, sometimes 8 or longer (depending on the size of the order), to grow out the tubes and make them ready for shipping.

I think I ordered on Jan 23. And I received them... I think a day before, or the day I posted this thread. So that was just under six weeks.
