You all should try the world's hottest pepper: the Bhut Jolokia (meaning Ghost Pepper in Hindu) chilli pepper ;D These little nasties have been rated as the most spiciest (hottest) peppers in the Scoville scale at 855,000 heat units SHU (Scoville Heat Unit). Per Wikipedia article on Bhut Jolokia: 'In 2009, scientists at India's Defence Research and Development Organisation announced plans to use the peppers in hand grenades, as a non lethal way to flush out terrorists from their hideouts and to control rioters. It will also be developed into pepper spray as a self defense product. R. B. Srivastava, the director of the Life Sciences Department at the New Delhi headquarters of India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (who also led a defense research laboratory in Assam), said trials are also on to produce bhut jolokia-based aerosol sprays to be used by potential victims against attackers and for the police to control and disperse mobs'. Next time any of you guys decide to eat at Salad King (Thai restaraunt) and the waitress asks you how many chillies you want...say, "None, just a bhut jolokia please".

Farya- the Butch Ts are in the package- there are also several Bhut Jolokias, including yellow and the original Assam. Trust me, that picture is of the hottest peppers on earth, which is why DVG and I have so much respect for them. I got some dried Bhuts a few weeks ago and they are really really hot and very tasty, but them ones in the box, some are twice that hot

I'm surprised that you two don't have a permanent case of Japanese flag.

If they're giving you the imperial, then it's time to stop eating them, lol.

Ominous message to DVG: El Blanco is coming... Haha Cole, if you were referring to Caederus mexicana combustus, i've been fortunate to have avoided that scenario thus far with this box of Superhots. But speaking of ass-blasters, the worst next day exit pain i've ever experienced came from a dried ground chile pepper powder mix dubbed 'Chocolate Thunder' by it's maker. It seems i had placed a little too much of that CT on a baked potato one night, and thought i could tone down the heat by adding extra butter and sour cream to that said spud. The strategy seemed to work, even though the mouth heat was just barely tolerable, and i thought i had dodged a bullet with that one, but each trip to the washroom the next day turned out to be a gripping white-knuckle affair of pure excruciating pain... ...which ended up teaching me even more respect for these spicy food additives. dvg

No, El Blanco has just departed Australia, and like Australia you will suffer a most horrific attack of the Japanese flag. El Blanco is coming for you, DVG. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Oh okay then, i haven't heard of that one before. But speaking of Australian hot food products, i received some Incinerator Extreme Chilli Sauce from Heatseekers Chilli Products, sent to me from the land of Aus', early last week. This sauce is interesting because it may be the only one (there may be others i am unaware of) out there with pure 16 Million SHU capsaicin crystals floating around in it. This stuff is seriously hot, and the maker made me sign a waiver before she would send it out. Because pure capsaicin crystals are both tasteless and odorless, they do not impart any of the usual metallic or chemical tastes commonly associated with Oleoresin extracts, and the pure crystals don't cause the same stomach distress that Oleoresin extracts are known for. So consequently, this is a very flavorful hot sauce, with some extra added heat. Ingredients: Peaches, Pineapple Juice (flavor and Vit C), 7 Pot Chillies, Vinegar, Ginger, Sugar, Vodka (0.9%), Natural Pure Capsaicin Crystals (No Oleoresin Extracts)The sauce is fairly thick, smells sort of fruity, no doubt from the 7 Pot Chillies (so named in Trinidad, because one of these 7 Pot chillies is hot enough to heat up 7 pots of stew), and wasn't salty or vinegary tasting. I sampled some first with a toothpick dipped into the sauce and then tried two drops of it on a teaspoon. It had a nice good heat that lasted for at least 20 minutes and gave me a decent and even-paced tongue burn. This was a small batch offering of 60 numbered bottles. It was the second batch made, with the first batch selling out on the first day at an Aussie Chillie Fest some months back, earlier this year. I'll give them this; those Aussies do know how to make great hot sauces. dvg

31drew31....those are Satan's chillies lol ;D I thought those bhut jolokia's were hot but these scorpion chillies beats them by far. Here's an idea: for those psychotic enough to try these bad boys, we should hold a competition lol. Maybe get together one day for a OCPS BBQ Day and let the good times roll.

Hi Farya, the Incinerator came from Heatseekers/Wildfire Chilli products in Australia. The owner, Candice Burns, has two companies, Heatseekers and Wildfire Chilli Products. Here is a link to her site. And she also grows carnivorous plants. dvg
