Thanks guys, Here are some rocotos from a couple days ago... Rio Huallaga on top...this one had the best flavor of all the rocotos I grew this summer. And two Cusco Rot Yellow x Mini Rocoto...keeps the Cusco Rot flavor and heat, is larger than the mini and is a very prolific pod producer. dvg

I was quite happy with my Carolina Reaper this year - I got about 80 peppers from it. Enough for me to regret it for the next 52 weeks...

LOL. actually, I end up diluting it a lot in larger batches of food and I give away a bunch also to work colleagues. Plus we have an annual chilli contest (for charity) at work so I enter the hottest category. I have won once that one. I do like my hot peppers and the punch they do for my food. I grind up the peppers into a powder and use it like black pepper on my food.

What do people think the most delicious hot pepper is? Taste is always a personal preference, but a lot of folks seem to like the Aji Lemon. It also is very similar to the Lemon Drop...citrus aroma and flavor and not overbearing heat. dvg

This was my biggest pepper grow-out ever....99 pepper plants in 51 pots. Down to just two pots now, but also pruned back some of the peppers for over-wintering in 1 gallon pots. Here is a Jigsaw from today... This one has a mean nasty bite... ....will definitely take a piece out... When you look into the pepper...
....the pepper peers back into you.dvg

Nice plants guys ! This year i had only my own pepper hybrids into cultivation(P-38) Here my babies: Each plant gave me 100+ cayennes style hot peppers. I have many ziplocs full of heat in the freezer. Next year i will grow red and chocolate bhut jolokia, trinidad scorpion, Brainstrain, carolina reaper, assam bhut, douglah, and a couple others. Oh, and i have some extra seeds of all these species/cultivars/hybrids. If you guys want some These are valuable seeds, and nuclear hot stuff, experts only Francois

A friend gave me a pepper plant and I really enjoy it. Lots of big, bright-red, very hot peppers. I'm going to take it inside and see how it does. I'm going to try the lemon ones too.
