My calycifida is producing a flower stalk, does anyone else notice how these things look like they're trying to flip you off? At least it's not as mean as a stylidium, a.k.a. "Chris Brown flower".

Congrats! Do you have any pics of the full plant? It looks interesting.

Oh how I hate those flow spikes. All the plants I own have thrown out dozens of spikes but have never produced a flower, let me know if yours actually forms a flower. How are you growing yours?

Here is a recent pic of the whole plant: It's growing in a roughly 1:1:1:1 LFS:perlite:fir bark:peat mix, 4" mesh pot(inside plastic container), allowed to slightly dry between waterings(1 cm refill). I also keep it in indirect light, under a small humidity dome(will stop using when sphagnum has grown enough).

I'm in Winnipeg right now but when I get back I'll post sone pictures of mine. Your clone looks very different then mine. Maybe we'll have to trade when yours gets big enough.

Sure thing, I've already got some divided! As for which clone it may be, the stalk is progressing at a steady pace, so hopefully we'll have some flowers to tell us soon enough!

I just checked the medium, there is an additional part coarse grit silica.
