Hey everyone,
I snapped some pics today of my flytraps enjoying the rain. Although, some of the traps closed.
I'll be honest, this is the best my flytraps have ever looked, and I'm hoping they'll be even bigger and better next year.
enjoy!
all of these in the bin thing are from keehn's.
sawtooth
scarlet bristle closed traps
red sawtooth with gorgeous colour - this is one of my favourites
green dragon - this seems to be the real deal. The traps rarely are completely red, so it's certainly not a fake green dragon like some people have. (I've heard)
red dragon - the newer traps have green edges, but they colour up
watermelon - I like this one. The white-ish traps are really unique.
cupped trap
bristletooth - they have just started making their more "bristly" cilia. These traps pictures are the older, not so bristly traps.
clayton's red sunset and B52 - the B52's seems to get sunburned really easily, and they're not doing the greatest.
clone Z02 - I love this plant!
more cupped trap - surprisingly, this little guy survived flowering. I didn't get any seeds though.
clone H013 received this year from Cpgeek. (Thanks) I really love this clone, it has upright leaves and the traps have a pink-ish red center, and the cilia lean into the trap a bit. I hope I described that well, haha...
tall green giant also from Cpgeek this year. It definitely lives up to its' name!
royal red - my second or third favourite red clone
red seedling - this is the one that flowered last year. I'm not sure why, but my seedlings seems to grow up way slower than anyone's.
big vigorous bought this year from HB
shark's teeth with no colour.
pink venus!
dente - I used to despise this clone, but I'm beginning to like it.
big mouth - I left this plant along with a few others outside of their bins one night, and all of the traps closed and some of them ripped. Perhaps an animal walked all over my plants.
Thanks for looking!
