Happy New year everyone! So I'm thinking of placing an order to Best Carnivorous Plants. The only catch is that so I don't have to do paperwork for live plants, it's going to be a seed/gemmae/hibernaculum order. If anyone is interested please let me know. I'll let you know up front there's extra shipping charges totaling from 10-20 euros. I'm ok to pay with my visa as long as I get money before the order goes through. If you don't send me a payment, I wont be inclined to put your order through. I'm a student, so I can't afford to take on risk, even though it's not a lot of money. Sorry Furthermore, depending on the size of the order and also what you order, I'm going to request that you re-imburse me for shipping. By this I mean canada post charges for shipping and any boxes/envelopes/stamps I need to buy. I don't need this up front, but I can send you a quote and we can agree on the cost. I live on the west coast, so if it doesn't make sense to send the package from BCP to me first, let me know. Lastly, if you do want to put an order through with me, go on the BCP ordering site, see what you want to order, and when you go to check-out, it asks what bonus plants you want. I would recommend only seeds/hibernacula so as to keep paperwork and costs at a minimum. So that's all. Just remember: this is a hibernacula/seed/gemmae order. I live on the west coast, and I would request money up front. Shipping fees can be settled later. And the order will be sent in on the last day of January! Thanks & Happy New Year

Hey guys,
If someone got paperwork, that would be awesome! I don't know if I could take that on though, because I've never done an order like that. If things continue just as a seed/hibernacula/gemmae order, I'll be more than happy to do it. But if there is paperwork involved, I'll still do what I can, but I'll need help. But no one else has spoken up yet, so we'll see what happens moving forward.

Not to derail your plans, but didn't we have a whole bunch of trouble the last time we ordered from them? Good plants and good prices, but a lot of mess and hassle.

That wasn't BCP's fault, the order just wasnt organized well.

also another throught, the orriginal order was supposed to be seeds and gammae, not the best weather for shipping plants either from them to canada, or around canada for that matter. Why not do a seed/ gammae order now (cause gammae season will be long gone by spring), and then we can organize a plant order in the spring. Thanks Sib

Not to derail your plans, but didn't we have a whole bunch of trouble the last time we ordered from them? Good plants and good prices, but a lot of mess and hassle. Not to mention the fact that I got one out of the 3 neps I ordered. Plus the utricularia that I got had two leaves and never actually grew.

So I'm going to give until saturday if anyone wants to order. If no one puts up anything they want by then, I'm not going to go through with an order. Thanks!

Hi quatchi, I was interested in some live plants! I know you can only order seeds. I'm sure a lot of people are interested but rather wait until spring, where someone with the right documents can do the order!
Otherwise I thank you for offering.
