WOW!!! I wish I were there!!! those purps and rotundi's are amazing!!!!! Thankyou for sharing this! It was very exiting to look at!! about that walking on water pert though... I thought that was really dangerous?

Very interesting pictures. Is that a Rhododendron in the 3'rd. picture? It's called Sheep Laurel. My parents had a property near Ottawa and it grew there.

Thanks Ian, for the ID. Sheep laurel seems to be a type of Rhododendron with the same toxin that other Rhododendrons has and can kill sheep that feed on it.
