Hi Guys,
I have land snails in few of my terrariums they are very tiny and i found snails inside of one of my cephs traps. That was about months and half ago; yesterday i checked again and they are still in there living under the juice and eating away the dead bugs inside the traps ,they have not try to eat their way out and seem to be happy. I think the cephs and the snails are having a great Symbiotic relationship. I will post pictures soon. Tom man that is soo cool maybe you should get a separate small tank and breed small snails for your plants.
Cheers
Xavier

Breeding snails?! lol, they already breed too much for me... got the aquatics ones in all my aquaria and the others in all my plants So the sooner i find a snail killer, the better DVG: i waited a few days before taking back picture to be sure that 'dead is dead' (to quote that Lost episode), and caught snails are pretty muh caught and dead. I tried to take more close up in a mini tank, pictures are a bit bitter but the macro on snails aren't pretty good (snails are about 3 mm). I grow the Aldrovanda in a 15G planted fish tank with a dual tube 4' T8 over it. ééit has been running for more than a year, so the cycles are pretty much done and algae under control. I also add CO2 via a fermentor behind the fish tank, but i am not 'regular' about feeding the reactor, so it's pretty much on/off. Current created from the water filter is a problem with Aldrovanda, since they rift pretty easily and once they get in the waterfall, they sank at the bottom, often getting stuck. My solution to this was to have tall aquatic plant which reach the water surface. Aldrovanda plants are getting 'intertwined' with them just enough to keep them in a corner of the fish tank, being able to grow mostly undisturbed while not being compete by the plants. I have some minor algae problem with this tank around the Aldrovanda, but mostly on old, decaying part. they are growing pretty fast and exhibit large traps (in comparison to the ones received from CZ which haven't grown much a of trap yet). Snails are still blurry, haven't been able to find a good focal point with my camera and plants under water... but at least, the blurry dark parts looks a bit like snails lol
