Rymah,
What types of plants do you have? If you have tropicals then no need to remove the cfls as they love the warmth, for Hingland Neps, you can remove them.

im new so i have 3 sundew' and a bunch of VFT's i want to get the best for vft's

You can remove them most likely. If they dont color up on your T8's then add the CFLs back. You will atleast get good growth with the T8s... thats for sure.

The T8 should be should be sufficient as long as the plants are 6 in. close to the light. Good luck with your plants!

VFT's don't need high humidity. I grow mine inside under lights sitting in a tray of water and they do fine. No terrarium or anything else to help with the humidity, so I wouldn't about humidity for yours in Ontario
