I've ordered from Rowlands twice in England and had very poor germination and no plants that lived more than a few weeks. This could be my poor technique plus maybe seeds that are too hard to germinate. Otherwise I've never really had a bad experience. At the worst some people are just busy, don't check their email or forget to finish the transaction without reminding. Generally I've had great experience with everyone I've dealt with (almost all Canadian) and have managed to get almost all the plants I want by trading or buying at very reasonable prices. CP'ers as a group tend to be eccentric (in a good way) but honest and reliable.

I just got an email from BestCarnivorousPlants and their selection is incredible. Has anybody ever ordered from them? They have so much to offer that a group order might be an interesting thought.

Lloyd: I did, once for gemmae and once for plants. Very nice plants, on the small side but several 'portions' so you can easily have numerous back-ups or share/trade immediatly on delivery for others to increase mutually your collection and avoid to put eggs in the same basket. Plus, they always add a few plants as a gift.
I would be in for sure for a group order

Is anybody up for organizing a group order from BestCarnivorousPlants? I've never bought plants from abroad so I don't have any experience. Tom, was there much trouble or work involved ordering plants from them?

Hi Lloyd and Tom, BestCarnivorous are cool guys, and their plant quality has always satisfied me (droseras, neps, hellies AFAIAC). Usually, they send you 4 seedlings for the price of 3 (but don't you believe I have shares in their company Enjoy ! OL
