if anyone has I would think it'd be sticky, Jay or Purpman but I can't be sure- they'll likely chime in if they have seen any good ones but there simply must be bogs about up there

Hi Doug, We're heading to Sybil's in Amherstburg this Sunday for her get together and we might just leave a bit early and see what's happening in Sifton. Too bad you're heading to Moosonee (wherever that is ). You could have hitched a ride out and back with us. Maybe another time, though. >>> Rick <<<

Doug , you wont have trouble findin a bog . its tundra and bogs and tundra. Theres some much cool stuff up there you definitely wont get bored. If you do {which I doubt } look for a stream .then I have one word for you "kimberlite"its everywhere i seriously have like 30 uncut diamonds some good size and like 20 garnets all good size.I put them away for retirement. Maybe youll get lucky. you just need a screen and patience. There is some sad stuff to see like crazy mines but i just steer clear of those. Try Polar bear prov. park im sure you'll be happy. honestly you'll probably have a harder time findin dry land. They had to drag me out kickin and screamin. Obviously your flyin. have a good time and be careful its not like tobermory I look forward to the pics sticky oh ya i almost forgot kesagami prov park, is 72 km from there too

Hi Rob,
Sure... it could work out okay for us if we meet at Sifton Bog on Sunday morning?
When do you think you'd be arriving there?
Also, how would we arrange it for you to get back to Sarnia? Is there somewhere in London or elsewhere that we could drop you off on the way back (from which you could catch a connecting ride back to Sarnia)?
Let me know what works best for you and we can go from there...

Where exactly is Sifton Bog?
Interesting to see that the Calopogon and Pogonia are blooming there. That's pretty much the same as here normally, although I haven't been out to check this year. The showy lady slippers are just opening, which is surprising, since we were about 2 weeks behind in the spring, but now things have really caught up! What zone is that bog in?

Kd, I can't find my zone map, papers are everywere. The bogs in london ont . Its on oxford and pondmills if Im not mistaken.Right across the street from a mall surrounded by suberbia. That may explain why the sarrs are scarce ,there probably getting picked and the poachers are too dumb and know so little about the species there arn't any in the open.like you said doug there were lots by the walkway in 1980 .I saw one by the walk way last year .I found it zone 5a Hope that helps sticky
