I forget if I sent anybody any pygmaea gemmae last winter. I read that these are weedy but they are really pesky. I've been waiting for the cute 4 petalled flowers to open and I noticed tons of seedlings in the pot and worse contaminating my pulchella X nitidula dish! These flowers are cleistogamous! I just spent a half hour picking the errant seedlings out.
On a similar note I found a stolon from my U. nelumbifolia propagating itself in one of my H. nutans pots. I think I got it out, hopefully.

I put them in the corner near the utrics so any seedlings will be quickly noticed and dumped. They are cute and really easy to grow. I just wish the flowers would open! This has got to be the easiest CP to grow, except for Jay's favourite of course.
