Having trouble getting this drosera to grow nicely.
Could someone who is having success post some info. on what soil mix you are using, humity etc. How wet do you keep the medium?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Curlingguy,
At least you're lucky enough to have specimens.
I'd love to be able to offer you some advice, but I have been having problems obtaining this species (go figure). I ordered a plant from Cooks that didn't make it, and I've tried seed from two sources and got a whopping zero percent germination.
Maybe it just isn't meant to be!

I did grow this drosera years ago. had no problems with it. I did grow it is a terrarium. Pretty much the same as growing spatulata. Water the plant but do not have it to wet treat it as a cephs do not let it dry but don't have it too wet either. I had mine in a 1 to 1 peat and sand.

Had those from seeds 2 years ago, they did well on a balcony (1:1 peat :send), bloomed an died soon after I brought them in for winter. Aren't they monocarpic? 2 new ones sprouted in the old pot, hope they are capillaris, but it is too early to tell.
