Quebec has all that wonderful James Bay hydro. In Ontario they break up the bill so nobody can figure it out without a working knowledge of calculus. Still I found my four 4 foot fluorescents plus timer were only using about $100 a year. Occasional pump operation is trivial, and anyways the electric usage partly offsets heating cost in winter

WHOA!! 100$ a year??? shoot...thats a lot! soo basically a little over 13$ or so per month for lights alone Well.....I guess I am just getting one of those shoplights with 2 4 foots for now + 2 of my lamps + 4 of these plant GE Gro & sho's. yikes !!!

You could do what the grow-ops do and run an illegal tap to the hydro on the street.

lol! ppl seriously do that? Wouldn't they be busted?? lol! I rather pay extra than do something like that ! I have enough worries on my head already.

question: are the gE Gro&Sho lights worth the 20$? I'm thinking of adding 1 more light fixture, but the specs of the g&S light isnt very impressive... the GE Sunshine bulb is much more impressive, and id rather get that if i can find it in a small size! *EQL*
