Okay, I'll start. I put my plants outside in the summer so they can enjoy the beneficial and free sunlight. Then, I bring them in and some go into dormancy. Those that don't need dormancy are under my grow lights. I use four foot flourescents- two per fixture.
When I started growing stuff I used one GE daylight 40 (3050 lumems, 6500k color temp 75 cri) and one GE Sunshine 40 (2250 lumens, 5000K 90 cri). Now when I get new fixtures to add lights I just get the daylight 40 bulbs as they have the higher lumens.
I built "bookcases" out of one by six pine which holds three or four lights as I made them about 54 inches wide.
