I couldn't think where to put this, so I set it right here Well, seeing as the weather hasn't gotten too harsh yet, I still have NOT mulched my outdoor setup, and the way it's lookin I might not have to all "winter" I went out to look at it yesterday, and was kinda stunned- I have a NICE pitcher forming on my S.leucophylla, it is not getting as much light due to the angle of the sun, but it is slowly and surely growing My S.purpurea are all growing nicely too... I would take pics but I can't get my camera out there, but it is kinda freaky, I mean, I think the plants are moving slowly enough that they are "saving up" a bit, but I can't be sure- I imagine they could get such temperatures down where they originate from, but still- I was laughing with my wife about how I might indeed have to rip some stuff out and give it fridge dormancy, and I'm thinking I might do stratification in the fridge too just for good measure... But anyways, anyone else with things visible outside seeing anything odd?? The only thing that hasn't sprouted are my sundews, thanks goodness, and most of my Sarrs are properly dormant, but the few holdouts are real peculiar like

moved to the outdoor cultivation Today I noticed that the forsythia is starting!and a couple crocus are flowering in jessicas front yard...crazy quick this year! I'm getting ready to do my waterbottle method for seeds, either on friday or next monday. I'm still going outside. this chilly time is great for stratification, would be nicer if there were more frosts and over night freezes to 0, but this is still good! Thanks, Sib
