I use RO water (18L refills at the supermarket) and rain water mostly. I will sometimes use tap water either when I'm lazy or when I dont have anything better left.
Toilet water = tap water That was a toilet humor joke...
RO water is essentially purified because is passes through a semi-permeable membrane and maybe other stages like carbon filter. Smaller molecules will pass through the system, but most will be extracted. Distilled water is theoreticaly 100% pure water because you recuperate the only condensed water vapor, while the minerals stay at the bottom.

Phosphates may contaminate the product stream if the apparatus is cleaned with phosphate cleaners. Also distilled water collects volatiles like chloroform, and dehumidifier and distilled water may contain copper or aluminum from the condensers. hey anyone ever try watering with beer? low pH and lots of bog like organics
