I bought a controller for my outside lights for about $40 at Home Depot. It doesn't dim but it turns off around 350 Watts of lights and adjusts for local sunrise/sunset by firmware.

The one I have is for high power outside lights and avoids having to change the timer all the time according to local sunrise & set.
