It's happened, I lost the battle and the books won! Wouldn't know anything about that eh ken heheh! I finally broke down and ordered some books from amazon.ca. I don't know why I've always been so reluctant, but I've always had good experience with chapters, except when it came to one book that they didn't carry. So I have 3 CP books on their way; Gardening with Carnivores: Sarracenia Pitcher Plants in Cultivation & in the Wild Nick Romanowski (the main reason I ordered from amazon.ca), Growing Carnivorous Plants Barry A. Rice, Pitcher Plants of the Americas Stewart McPherson. I almost managed to hold out, but alas I gave in, their due the first week or two in february. Sib

I also have a thing about buying books. The internet has only made it worse with so much available. I try and buy books that I will read over and over.

P.D'Amato's book has been my main "Bible" I also have CP'S of the world from James P. I don't like buying to many because I find that their very similar and if one gives you the main idea why spend more money... But hey maybe that I'm totaly wrong it's just a point of view! Cya

They finally came!!! Well actually they're early by about 2 weeks but still, new CP books, whats not to get excited about . I've just begun to flip through the 3 of em, and I must say the photography is stunning particularlly in the pitchers plants of the americas book! In a few days once I've read them over, I'll post reviews for both pitcher plants of the americas, and gardening with carnivores. I think vraev said in another thread he would write up the other book! Thanks, Sib
