Hi Treefrog - Yes, I spent a great number of years in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. I also spent time in KL ...big city! Whilst over there I convinced a number of my clients to keep nature preserves on their property. I'm actually back on my way over to that part of the world again...and am planning my itinerary now. It's funny, I did a search for red reed frogs, and I'm thinking they were actually common reed frogs. I'm surprized you've found them sensitive! Mine were in the unheated tank with the firebellies and green tree frogs. When I first got them, they were quite scared, but they tamed up nicely. heres a photo for those of you who are curious, I found it on the net: Just curious, how hard are your big eyes to raise from egg? Thanks, Sib Who is located in ontario

wow this reed is gorgeous, the one I had in the past were always comming in Canada with enormous wound, glad to see yours are doing good. Big eye tree frog are the easiest frog I have for raising the tads, always 100%hatching and metamorphosis. Last year I gave 15 eggs to a elementary class for a ''biology project'' and they were had no problem with rising them and the kids even bringed back the little froggy to their home after the class observations. I will be going in Mississauga this sunday if it interest you.

After such nice comments, I figured I'd better show my guys instead of the one I found on the net, here's a few of mine: Red reeds: Green tree frog: funny thing about these guys is that during the day when they rest, they would change colour to almost brown, or a very dark muddy green but at night when they were bouncing around, they would go bright green, sometimes lime green, others mint green, seamed to change on a nightly basis. Fire belly toads: Was always fond of the differnt spot patterns on these guys! My mantella: any idea what kind? And lastly the firebelly newt! Thanks, Sib

Hi Sib, Do the rabbits and frogs get on well together? What else do you have at home in the way of flora and fauna?

Hi Syble, nice frogs, your mantella is a madascariensis or a baroni. But from the pattern I would say madascariensi.
All the best

wow......welcome to ocps buddy. U know what...I never did like frogs. I mean I don't hate them...I just don't bother about them....but if there is ever 1 frog I would love to have ...it is that green rainforest frog with the red eyes that is in nearly EVERY WILD LIFE documentary picture. lol! that is one awsome frog which I would love to have if I ever do get a tropical style terrarium.
lol! just realised...it is the RED-EYED tree frog that u have in ur pic last page. wow...that guy looks soo cute.
