2 things, I only scaned the post again, but I don't think anyone mentioned that pings go through a cycle of succession. the older leaves wither and die as it grows, which would be the ones on the bottom. Although I have noticed with mine that they don't always die in the order they were sprouted. Also, a sprinkeling of ground up freexe dried blood worms would do wonders. Thanks, Sib

I think cricket peices will be too big, easier to feed crushed freeze dried blood worms, plus it's cheeper and is more readily absorbed Sib

Hey Sib, do you have problems with the blood worms? I have to be very careful with them as I am very allergic to them. Even if I'm not aware of getting any dust on my hands or face, often I will sneeze like crazy or my eyes will swell after I feed them to my fish or plants. I'm afraid to grind them up for fear of having an allergic reaction.

I haven't seen those for sale, I'll try my aquarium guy for the daphnia. Once my son got some freeze-dried blood worms in his face. His nose and eyes were watering like crazy. I had to dose him with anti-histamines. Since then I won't let him near them. I guess we're just allergic to them.
