Always pretty, but never actually given it much thought to the length of the flower stalks, here's my utricularia dichotoma, a pretty little violet and yellow flower...with a flower stalk that is almost 25cm high! That's over 30 times the height of its leaves: and here it is, showing everything to give an idea of scale ...the plastic clear tub contains my baby VFTs (if you look carefully, you'll see VFT growing down the vertical surface between the soil and the plastic wall, as a number of seeds were displaced by water early in the season), the small 3" pot serving as a black background has has a bit of everything including some rogue utric sandersonii (bunny ears) and d capensis ( gotta love that weed ), and the small 3" pot in front of utric dichotoma is my sandersonii pot, which some of you received clumps from:
